Hello, my name is Haley and I am currently studying to become a High School English teacher. Unlike the teachers you probably have or had, I do not think analyzing a book to death is the best way to read it. Sometimes blue curtains mean nothing more than blue curtains. But I do think literature is a deep and under-respected art form, mostly. Some books are awful. And this blog is where you can get in-depth reviews of books. If there is a book that is not on here that you would like me to review, please feel free to contact me.
In order to do this in an easy way, I have rated each book out of four stars. Instead of alphabetizing the books or the authors, I have arranged them by rating. If you find this to be confusing, please let me know.
By the way, I have read hundreds of books. I am not going to put all of them on here at once.
And, I want you to be involved, so I am in the process of putting polls after each review. I would love to know what you think!

She Loves Me Not by Wendy Corsi Staub: While I only give this book three stars overall, I think it was very good. I enjoyed reading this, a lot. The reason that I do not give it four stars is that there was not a whole lot of underlying messages, morals, and meanings, which I think make literature more fun to read. However, the suspense in this novel was very well done. I was convinced multiple times that I knew who the bad guy was, and I was wrong each and every time. I thought the characters were believable and interesting, and the plot was worth reading. I read this book in one go: I could not put it down. This is, of course, a mystery novel. While there is some murder, it isn't described in great, gut-wrenching detail, so even those who don't have the strongest stomachs should be able to read it.
